Skillet s'mores

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cups milk chocolate chips
  • ¼ cup milk
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 4 cups mini marshmallows
  • 16-20 graham crackers

Caramel sauce

  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • ½ melted butter
  • ¼ cup milk
  • 1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts

Directions

  1. Preheat broiler.
  2. Add butter, chocolate chips, milk, and salt to a medium-sized cast iron skillet and cook over medium-low heat, stirring until smooth. Once smooth, top with a layer of mini marshmallows and transfer skillet to oven.
  3. Broil for 1-2 minutes or until marshmallows have softened and browned.
  4. To make the caramel sauce & nuts, cook the brown sugar, melted butter & milk on medium heat until thick , 1-2 minutes. 
  5. Drizzle the caramel sauce over the s’mores & sprinkle the nuts over top.
