Spicy bourbon citrus cocktail
Ingredients
Chili Honey
- 2 tablespoons dried Thai chili flakes
- 12 ounces honey
Cocktail
- 1 ounce Thai chili honey
- 2 ounces bourbon
- ½ ounce grapefruit vodka
- 1 ounce fresh lemon juice - lemon peel, to garnish
- Ice (to serve)
Directions
For the Honey
- Place the chilies and honey in a small saucepan over medium heat.
- Allow to infuse for 5 minutes, strain through a mesh sieve and allow to cool completely.
For the Cocktail
- Combine bourbon, vodka, lemon juice, and honey in a cocktail shaker; fill shaker with ice.
- Shake until outside of shaker is frosty, about 30 seconds.
- Strain into a chilled coupe glass and garnish with lemon twist. Enjoy!
