Spicy bourbon citrus cocktail


Chili Honey

  • 2 tablespoons dried Thai chili flakes
  • 12 ounces honey


  • 1 ounce Thai chili honey
  • 2 ounces bourbon
  • ½ ounce grapefruit vodka
  • 1 ounce fresh lemon juice - lemon peel, to garnish
  • Ice (to serve)


For the Honey

  1. Place the chilies and honey in a small saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Allow to infuse for 5 minutes, strain through a mesh sieve and allow to cool completely.

For the Cocktail

  1. Combine bourbon, vodka, lemon juice, and honey in a cocktail shaker; fill shaker with ice.
  2. Shake until outside of shaker is frosty, about 30 seconds.
  3. Strain into a chilled coupe glass and garnish with lemon twist. Enjoy!
