Ingredients

Dough:

  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon cooking oil
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1 egg

Broth and vegetables:

  • 1/2 cup dried anchovies (remove heads) or dashi or mushroom broth
  • 2 stalks green onion
  • 1 med-size potato, halved, sliced 1/4 inch thickness
  • 1 carrot, halved, sliced 1/4 inch thickness

Seasoning:

  • 2 tablespoon chopped green onion
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 4 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoons sesame oil
  • 2 teaspoons chili pepper
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • Pinch of black pepper

Directions

Seasoning:

  1. In a small bowl, mix all the seasoning ingredients together.

Love and marriage:

  1. In a med-size pot, bring water to boil.
  2. Add anchovies/dashi/mushroom broth.
  3. Boil for five minutes.
  4. Add potato and carrots.
  5. Add hand-pulled pieces of dough into the pot.
  6. Cook for three minutes.
  7. Pour seasoning into the pot and cook for another two minutes.
  8. Remove from heat and serve.
