Ingredients
3 lemons
1 1/2 cups sugar
1/4 pound soft unsalted butter,
4 eggs
1/2 cup lemon juice from the lemons) using the peel
1/8 teaspoon salt

1 pint fresh strawberries
1/2 cup sugar
1 teaspoon lime juice
1 tablespoon grand marnier
2 cups cold 35 per cent whipping cream
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 store bought meringues broken in 1/2 inch pieces
Directions
Using a micro plane or rasp grate the lemon rind off the lemons into the sugar cream the butter and beat in the sugar and lemon mixture. Add the eggs, one at a time, then the lemon juice and salt. Mix together
Add the mixture into a medium sized saucepan and cook over low heat until thickened 8-10 min( stirring constantly) Remove from the heat to cool cover and refrigerate.

Wash , stem and cut the berries into quarters . Add half the sugar and lime juice and booze mix together well , let sit for an hour at room temperature
In the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with the whisk attachment, beat the cream, the remaining sugar, and the vanilla together on medium-high speed until it forms firm peaks.
In a medium bowl add the meringue half the strawberries and half the cream and mix well.
In a serving bowl or plate. Make a base of lemon curd , add a little whipped cream, add the mix then add the strawberries on top and voila!
