It's Dia de Los Muertos, a multi-day Mexican holiday where families remember and honour the ancestors they've lost. Chef Olivier Le Calvez is helping us celebrate through food with these three tasty and traditional Mexican dishes.

Sikil pak

Sikil Pak is a traditional Mayan dish made from roasted pumpkin seeds and tomato.

Xe’ek salad

Ensalada Xe’ec is a staple in the Yucatan region and is also sometimes made as salsa

Mucbil pollo

Mucbil Pollo consists of oversized, baked tamales that are made with chicken, sometimes stewed pork and black beans, flavored with achiote & spices, wrapped in corn dough (masa) and banana leaves, then roasted in an underground pit.
