Love test cocktail

This drink is inspired by the delicious but tricky cloud corpse. Think of it like a delightful and bloody creamy puff.



Cherry and Strawberry Syrup

  • 300 g of cherry jam
  • 300 g of strawberry jam
  • 1 litre of water
  • 400g white sugar

Love Test Cocktail

  • 1.5 oz Nigori Sake
  • 0.75 oz cherry and strawberry syrup
  • 0.5 oz white chocolate liqueur
  • 0.5 oz rice-based shochu


Cherry and Strawberry Syrup 

  1. Combine jams and water in a saucepan. Bring up just to a boil, stirring to ensure the jams are fully dissolved.
  2. Remove from head. Add sugar and stir. 
  3. Fine strain through cheesecloth.
  4. Store in an airtight container (a mason jar is perfect)

Love Test Cocktail 

  1. Combine sake, cherry and strawberry syrup, white chocolate liqueur, and rice-based shochu in a shaker tin. Add ice.
  2. Hard shake for 10 seconds until well chilled.
  3. Strain into a chilled coupe glass. Garnish with mochi on the side. Enjoy!
