Imagine a white chocolate cookie and a brownie come together, that is this epic caramelized blondie.

Ingredients
Blondies
1 1/2 cup toasted white chocolate chips
1 cup salted butter
1 1/2 cups brown sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon orange extract
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 cups cake flour
1/4 cup candied orange rings
1/2 cup dried cherries
Frosting
8 oz cream cheese
1/2 lb butter
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon orange extract
1/3 cup candied orange rinds
Assemble and Serve
Chopped toasted white chocolate chips, for garnish
White chocolate drizzle, for garnish
Dried cherries,for garnish
Directions
Blondies
Preheat the oven to 350°F
Lightly butter and flour in an eight-by-eight-inch pan.
Place the white chocolate chips on a parchment-lined baking tray and roast in the oven until golden brown (about two to three minutes) allow to cool.
I’m a large mixing bowl Whisk together the melted butter and sugar. Add the egg and orange extract and whisk to combine.
Add the flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and ginger powder and mix it all. Add one cup of the caramelized white chocolate chips, candied orange rind and dried cherries and combine.
Pour batter in to greased baking dish and bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until a wooden pick comes in and out of the centre clean. Allow to cool and reserve for frosting.
Frosting
In a stand mixer, whisk cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, orange extract, and candied orange rinds until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides of the bowl occasionally.
Assemble and Serve
Once the blondie has cooled, slather on the frosting using a spatula.
Garnish the top with the reserved caramelized white chocolate chips, diced orange rinds and dried cherries.
