Bourbon Pecan Bacon

Bacon will never be the same! Add a little dazzle to your breakfast spread of BLT with this sweet and boozy bacon recipe.

Ingredients
- 12 slices thick cut bacon
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons bourbon
- 2 tablespoons finely chopped pecans
- Freshly ground black pepper
Directions
- Line a sheet pan with parchment paper and lay out the bacon in one layer, making sure none of the strips overlap.
- Place the pan into a cold oven, then heat the oven to 400ºF. Set the timer for eight minutes when the range comes to temperature.
- Meanwhile, in a small bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, bourbon, and pecans—season with pepper.
- Remove the bacon from the oven. If a lot of fat has gone out, carefully drain some of it.
- Evenly pour the maple syrup mixture over the bacon, then return to the oven for eight to 10 minutes or until slightly sticky and cooked to your liking.
- Serve alongside a breakfast spread or as the bacon on a BLT! Enjoy!
