Subak hwachae (Korean watermelon punch)

This watermelon punch is a light and refreshing Korean variation that will quench your thirst on those hot summer days.

Ingredients

  • Small seedless watermelon, balled
  • Cantaloupe or honey dew melon, balled
  • Handful of blueberries
  • 1 lemon, thinly sliced
  • Fresh mint sprigs, garnish
  • 1 cup Milkis (Korean strawberry-flavoured milk)
  • 1 cup cider or sprite
  • 3 tablespoons watermelon juice
  • Ice cubse, for extra chilling, optional

Directions

  1. Place the watermelon, honey-dew melon, and blueberries into a medium-sized punch bowl.
  2. Add Milkis and Chilsung Cider. Stir.
  3. Garnish with fresh mint leaf and serve. Enjoy!
