Red and black always fit the Halloween bill at this time of year so not why not make a cocktail to match? Black vodka is available online and at liquor stores, but if you can find it, just use a little black food dye beforehand.

Ingredients

1 oz. black vodka
3 oz. soda
1/3 cup cotton candy
Black sanding sugar (optional)
Maraschino cherries

Directions

Run the rim of the glass with a wedge of lemon and dip into the black sugar to rim the glass.
Place a portion of cotton candy into your prepared glass. Add a cherry or two and place in the refrigerator to chill.
In a cocktail shaker, combine the soda, black vodka, and ice into a martini shaker and pour over cotton candy into a chilled martini glass rimmed with black sanding sugar.
Stir with a straw and watch the magic happen! Enjoy!
