Air fryer chickpeas

A healthy, high-fibre snack or salad topper!



  • 500ml can of chickpeas
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Juice of half a lemon
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon chilli flakes


  1. Heat air fryer to 390°F. 
  2. Drain and rinse chickpeas. 
  3. Toss with lemon olive oil and spices.
  4. Dump the whole batch of chickpeas in the air fryer basket.
  5. Cook for 12 to 15 minutes, shaking a couple of times.
  6. When chickpeas are crispy remove them from the air fryer and Season with salt. Serve as a salad topper or on their own as a snack. Enjoy!
