YIELDS

1H
Ingredients
3/4 cup flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1 1/2 cups rolled oats
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup butter
1 egg
1 cup chopped pecans (optional)
1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)
1/2 cup golden sultans, cranberries or raisins (optional)
1 cup mini marshmallows
1 cup of chocolate and a few tablespoons of 15% cream
Directions
Preheat the oven to 350° F.
Combine flour, baking soda, oats and salt in a bowl.
Cream together brown sugar and butter, and add egg in a mixer.
Mix in dry ingredients, slowly incorporating them. Do not throw it all in at once or it will make a big mess!
Add in your optional ingredients in any way you want. You can also add chocolate bar pieces or M&Ms.
Line the bottom and sides of a nine by nine pan with parchment paper and press dough firmly into the pan.
Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, until golden brown on top.
Cool for 20 minutes and cut into bars while still slightly warm.
Once cooled, melt some chocolate in a double boiler. Incorporate a few tbsp of 15% cream as it melts to make a smooth chocolate sauce.
Dip the bars in chocolate and let harden in the fridge and
enjoy!
