1. To make the tortilla stars, preheat the oven to 400F. Using a star shaped cookie cutter, cut star shapes outof the tortillas. Place in a single layer on a baking sheet and lightly brush both sides with olive oil. Sprinkleone side with sea salt and place in the oven until crisp, about ten minutes. Allow to cool.
2. Use the same cutter and gently press into the top face of the Brie cheese until it is about ⅛ to ¼ inch deep. Then using a small paring knife, trace out the shape and remove that portion of the brie. Then gently spoonpreserve into the star cut out.
3. Using the wine glass, fold the slices of salami on top of one another on the rim of the glass, with the firstlayer having the least amount of slices. Layer the second row of meat over the first layer adding more slicesthis time. The third and subsequent layers will continue the same process until you have the desired size ofa rose. When you are ready to add it to your box, flip the glass and meat over to create the form of a rose.
1. Start with the solid, heavier items such as the cheeses and the preserve jar and/or dish of brines (and minichampagne bottle). Spread them out into different corners of the box.
2. Next add the grapes, separating them into 3-4 grape clusters in 2-3 spots around the box.
3. Now would be a good time to find a spot for your salami rose and then alternate adding the star and roundcrackers and other meats. Be sure the crackers are not nestled up against anything that might make themdamp. Reserve 2-3 star shaped crackers to lay on top.
4. Next add the berries and the nuts to fill in all the spaces. Finish with some dark chocolate and edibleflowers.
