Ingredients

1 ½ oz Canadian whisky

1 oz of chilled strong coffee

½ oz apricot brandy

1 teaspoon juice from a jar of maraschino cherries

5 drops of chocolate flavoured bitters

1 maraschino cherry, skewered

2 oz melted good quality dark chocolate (can be used for 4 cocktails)

1 oz good quality dark chocolate shavings (can be used for 2 cocktails)

Directions
- Place the melted chocolate in the saucer of a teacup.
- Place the chocolate shavings in a second saucer.
- Using an old-fashioned glass, dip 2/3 of the length of the rim into the chocolate, 3 mm deep. Then immediately dip the chocolate rim into the chocolate shavings so that they stick. Chill the glasses.
- Mix the liquid ingredients with ice together in a mixing glass, until the liquid is chilled.
- Pour it into the decorated old-fashioned glass over fresh ice and add the skewered cherry to serve.
