Dutch babies with fresh picked berries


  • 6 eggs
  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup nut milk of your choice
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • Pinch of cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Fresh berries, for garnish
  • Maple syrup, to serve


  1. Place a large cast iron skillet over the fire to preheat. 
  2. Combine eggs, flour, milk, sugar and cinnamon in a bowl and mix together. 
  3. Place the butter in the hot skillet and place in the oven. 
  4. As soon as the butter has melted, add the batter to the pan. 
  5. Put the pan back on the fire and bake for 10 minutes, maneuvering in different parts of the fire until the pancake is puffed and golden. 
  6. When done, cut the pancake from the oven and serve topped with syrup, and berries and garnish with cinnamon sugar. Enjoy!
