Directions
- In a shallow plate, whisk together eggs, milk, sugar and cinnamon. Heat one teaspoon (five milliliters) butter in a nonstick skillet set over medium-low heat.
- Dip a few brioche slices in egg mixture for a few seconds; cook for two to three minutes on one side or until golden brown. Turn over; cook for two to three minutes or until golden brown on bottom.
- Transfer French toast onto plate; keep warm. Repeat with remaining brioche slices, adding butter to skillet as needed. Using a one centimeter star cookie cutter, cut out stars from French toast.
- Evenly spread 1/4 cup (60 milliliters) NUTELLA over four French toast stars; sandwich with remaining stars. Sprinkle with icing sugar.
TIP:
If desired, spoon NUTELLA into a small piping bag fitted with a small tip or into a resealable plastic bag with snipped corner; pipe outline over French toast stars.
