Ingredients
-
1 ball store bought pizza dough
-
2 tablespoons olive oil
-
1/3 cup unsalted butter, melted
-
3 cloves garlic, finely minced
-
2 teaspoons dry Italian seasoning
-
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
-
Kosher salt
-
1/2 cup ground Parmesan cheese
-
1–2 cups prepared tomato sauce, warmed
Directions
- Preheat your oven to 425ºF and line two baking sheets with parchment paper. Drizzle one tablespoon of oil over each parchment lined baking sheet and set aside.
- Divide the pizza dough into 14 equal pieces and roll each into a long rope that is about 1/2-inch thick. Tie a knot into each end of each rope and divide the breadsticks between the two prepared baking sheets. Bake the breadsticks for 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown.
- Meanwhile, mix the melted butter with the minced garlic, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and season with kosher salt. Spoon the garlic butter over the baked breadsticks and sprinkle with the Parmesan cheese. Return the breadsticks to the oven for two to three minutes just to lightly cook the garlic.
- Serve with the warmed tomato sauce for dipping.
