Maple sausage patties

A meaty side that is a great choice for your next family dinner.

Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 900 grams medium ground pork
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon dried garlic
- 1 tablespoon dehydrated onion
- 1 1/2 tablespoon maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon fennel seeds, toasted and lightly crushed
- 1/4 teaspoon dried chilies
- 1 teaspoon chopped fresh thyme
Directions
- Place all the ingredients in a large mixing bowl and incorporate with your hands.
- Form equal patties of desired size, about ten.
- Let chill covered in a fridge for about an hour
- Heat oil in a large cast iron pan on medium-high heat.
- Sear off the patties flipping half way until fully cooked through.
