Marinara sauce
Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons (45 milliliters) extra virgin olive oil
- 796 milliliter can diced tomatoes
- 156 milliliter can tomato paste
- 1/2 grated onion
- 2 tablespoons (30 milliliters) chopped garlic
- 1 teaspoon (5 milliliters) dried oregano
- 1 bay leaf
- 1/8 teaspoon (0.5 milliliters) salt
- 1/8 teaspoon (0.5 milliliters) pepper
- Fresh grated Parmesan, for garnish
Directions
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Add diced tomatoes in liquid, tomato paste, onion, garlic, oregano, bay leaf, salt and pepper to the pan. Stir and bring to a gentle boil. Cook, stirring periodically for 20-25 minutes.
- Serve with jumbo turkey meatballs and zoodles, and top with freshly grated Parmesan.
