SERVES
4
Ingredients
4 2.5 centimeter slices of bread
4 tablespoons butter
5 tablespoons goat’s cheese
1 shallot, thinly sliced
100 grams sliced smoked salmon
1 apple sliced thinly (any variety)
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
Melt one tablespoon of butter in a frying pan over medium heat. Add two slices of bread and fry until golden brown and crispy, about two minutes. Once the bread is golden brown on the one side add another tablespoon of butter to the pan and then turn the bread to toast on the other side for another three minutes. Repeat with last two slices of bread.
Smear each piece of toast with goat cheese, top with a few shallots, two slices of smoked salmon and top with a couple apple slices.
