Spicy chili garlic oil

3 /4 CUP


  • 3/4 cup (180 milliliters) olive oil
  • 1/4 cup (60 milliliters) chili flakes
  • 2 garlic cloves, smashed


  1. In a small pot, heat the oil until smoking, then remove from heat.
  2. In another pot, add the chili flakes and garlic.
  3. Pour hot oil over the chili flakes and garlic and infuse for five minutes.
  4. Strain the chilies and garlic out of the oil, then set the oil aside to cool for at least twenty minutes.
