Spicy sweet meatballs

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds ground pork
  • 2 teaspoons kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon cracked black pepper
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons chopped fresh thyme
  • 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
  • 1.5 cups apricot jam
  • 3 tablespoons dijon mustard
  • 1/4 cup hot sauce
  • Chopped parsley to garnish

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F and line a baking sheet with parchment.
  2. In a bowl mix together pork, salt, pepper, garlic, thyme, and worcestershire sauce. Form into 30 meatballs and evenly space out on baking sheet.
  3. Bake for 20 minutes, flipping once to ensure all sides have browned, and the meatballs have cooked through to the middle.
  4. To prepare sauce, add apricot jam, dijon mustard, hot sauce to a deep pot. Heat on medium until hot and bubbly, and season with salt to taste.
  5. Place meatballs in sauce, and toss to coat. Arrange on a platter and garnish with fresh chopped parsley. Enjoy! :)
