Sweet chili and grape jelly meatballs

My mother makes these every Christmas and they’re a hit. Best part is, it uses all ingredients you have loitering around. You can make your own favourite kinds of meatballs, but generally we have some frozen ground beef, meatballs, ground pork etc. Laying around. So I say use them up and create a dish which everyone will love. No need to spend a ton of money, this dish is all about using up what we have. 

Ingredients

  • 900 grams frozen meatballs or make your own!
  • 1 small jar grape jelly
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 1 large bottle sweet Chili sauce
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne
  • Salt and pepper

Directions

  1. Literally this dish is as simple as it gets.
  2. Put meatballs in a slow cooker and in a separate bowl, mix together the rest of the ingredients and pour over the meatballs.
  3. Cook on low for four hours or until meatballs are tender and everything is sticky and delicious.
  4. Serve with toothpicks or with some rolls!
