Toasted apple and blue cheese sammies

Made with toasted apple, blue cheese, prosciutto and fig jam, this is an adult version of the comforting childhood favourite we all still love. 



  • Half a French baguette
  • 100g very creamy blue cheese
  • 6 slices of prosciutto or your favourite cured ham
  • 1 fresh apple, thinly sliced
  • 1 small jar fig jam


  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. 
  2. Butterfly cut the baguette. 
  3. Spread creamy blue cheese on the bottom side of the baguette. 
  4. Add thinly sliced prosciutto on top of the blue cheese. 
  5. Add sliced apple on top of the prosciutto. 
  6. Spread fig jam on another piece of the baguette. 
  7. Close the sandwich up and bake for 6-7 minutes. 
  8. Serve and enjoy!
