Unbaked choc chews

A bite of chocolate goodness! 



  • 2 cups white sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 3 cups oatmeal
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 cup coconut, shredded


  1. Prepare a parchment-lined baking sheet. 
  2. In a saucepan combine sugar, butter, milk and vanilla and bring to a boil. 
  3. Add oatmeal, cocoa powder and shredded coconut and mix well. 
  4. Using a spoon, drop one tablespoon of the mixture to create little balls on the parchment-lined baking sheet. Allow to cool and serve. Enjoy!
