Jazzed up hummus

Step up your hummus game with this delish and simple update.
Ingredients
- 1 container of store-bought hummus
- Zest + juice of 1 lemon
- 1 garlic clove, crushed
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil, divided
- 1/2 cup canned chickpea, rinsed and drained
- Toasted pita, for serving
Directions
- In a bowl, mash the canned chickpeas lightly with a fork, and reserve one tablespoon for garnish; then add the lemon, garlic, and half the olive oil and mix. Stir into the store-bought hummus.
- To serve, garnish with mashed chickpea, and parsley and drizzle the remaining. Enjoy!
