A pina colada-inspired cocktail made with scotch, condensed milk, and bitters.
Ingredients
2.0 oz scotch
0.75 oz condensed milk
0.25 oz sweet herbal liqueur (optional)
1.5 oz fresh blood orange juice
.25 oz angostura bitter
Directions
Combine scotch, condensed milk, sweet herbal liqueur (optional for a pop of vanilla), fresh blood orange juice, and angostura bitters in a shaker tin. Add ice. Shake vigorously until ice cold.
Strain with a fine mesh strainer into a chilled coupe.
Finely grate fresh nutmeg on top. Serve and enjoy!
Optional: to kick it up a notch, float a shot of espresso on top of the cocktail before adding the grated nutmeg.
