Ingredients
2 tablespoons (30 ml) toasted sesame oil
1 tablespoon (15 ml) soy sauce
1 lime, juiced
1/2 teaspoon finely grated ginger
2 tablespoons sesame seeds, toasted
300 g sushi-grade tuna
1 avocado
1/4 cup cucumber, finely diced
1 green onion, thinly sliced
Kettle-cooked plain potato chips
Directions
Place a medium metal or glass bowl into the freezer to chill while you prepare the dressing.
In a small bowl, whisk together the sesame oil, soy sauce, lime juice, ginger, and sesame seeds.
Retrieve the chilled bowl from the freezer and grab the tuna from the fridge. Cut the tuna into one-quarter-inch dice and transfer them to the chilled bowl. Dice the avocado as you did the tuna and add to the bowl along with the cucumber and green onion. Pour over the dressing and toss gently to combine.
Serve immediately with kettle-cooked potato chips or transfer to the fridge for up to one hour to combine the flavours. Enjoy!
