Bajan rum punch

Ingredients
Simple Syrup
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup water
Bajan Rum Punch
- 1 1/2 oz Mount Gay Eclipse Rum (amber rum)
- 3/4 oz simple syrup
- 1/2 oz freshly squeezed lime juice
- 1 oz orange juice
- 2 oz water
- 1 dash Angostura Bitters
- Freshly grated nutmeg
- Lime and orange wedges, to garnish
Directions
Simple Syrup
- Place half a cup of sugar and half a of cup water in a saucepan. Bring to a boil and simmer until all sugar is dissolved (about two to three minutes).
- Cool before using.
Bajan Rum Punch
- In a tall glass, mix Mount Gay Eclipse Rum, simple syrup, freshly squeezed lime juice, orange juice, water and Angostura Bitters over crushed ice and stir.
- Top with grated nutmeg with orange and lime wedges for garnish. Enjoy!
