Chocolate and turmeric power bites

Ingredients

  • 2 cup raw cashews
  • 8 medjool dates
  • 1/3 cup sunflower seeds
  • 2 tablespoons ground flax seed
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 3 tablespoons ground turmeric powder
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup dark chocolate, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon coconut oil

Directions

  1. Add everything except the chocolate and coconut oil to a food processor and blitz until everything is broken up and the consistency of sand.
  2. Remove the mixture from the food processor to a bowl. Grab a small handful of the mixture and form it into small balls and place them on a baking sheet. Once all the mixture is formed into balls, place baking sheet in the fridge for about 15-20 minutes to let the balls firm up.
  3. To make the drizzle, add the chopped chocolate and coconut oil to a microwave safe bowl and microwave on high for 30 seconds. Continue until chocolate is completely melted.
  4. Remove the baking sheet from the fridge and drizzle chocolate over balls. Return to the fridge to let the chocolate set, about ten minutes. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a month. Enjoy!
