This dark chocolate and brie grilled cheese sandwich is served between Brioche or sourdough bread and makes for a ooey-gooey, decadent treat.
SERVES
2
Ingredients
4 slices sweet or tangy bread (something like a Brioche or sourdough loaf)
3–4 tablespoons salted butter, room temperature
100–125 grams sliced Brie
4 tablespoons dark chocolate chips or chunks
Directions
Preheat a Panini press, sandwich press, or a pan over medium heat.
Set out the four slices of bread and butter one side of each. Place two slices of bread butter side down onto your preheated grill or pan and top with cheese and a scattering of dark chocolate.
Top each with a second slice of bread, butter side up, and cook until the bottom is golden brown and the cheese is starting to melt, about four minutes.
Flip and cook the other side until golden and the cheese and chocolate are fully melted. Cut each sandwich in half and serve immediately for optimal gooeyness!
