French toast with sliced cheese and jam

A childhood favourite taken to the next level! This French toast is made with your classic sliced cheese, your favourite jam and toasted to perfection thanks to the butter.

Ingredients
- 1 slice of white bread
- 1 slice of processed cheese
- 2 eggs
- Pinch of salt
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 tablespoon strawberry jam
Directions
- Slice bread lengthwise in half.
- Slice cheese in half.
- Crack two eggs into a bowl and whisk vigorously.
- Pinch some salt into the beaten eggs.
- Melt butter in the skillet, low heat.
- Pour eggs into the skillet.
- Immediately dip both half slices of bread into the egg. Turn over and dip the bread on the other side. Leave in the skillet.
- When the bottom of the egg is done, flip the egg with the bread slices over.
- Turn over egg flaps on all four sides of the bread slices. It should end up looking like a proper square.
- Top bread with jam and cheese. Serve and enjoy!
