Pizza stuffed mushroom bites

  • 25 crimini mushrooms, wash, cleaned stems removed
  • 1 cup cream cheese softened
  • 2 cloves garlic finely minced
  • 1 tablespoon dried oregano
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese grated
  • 1 cup pepperonis
  • Parsley chopped, for garnish, optional


  1. Heat the BBQ to 350°f (180c)
  2. Mix cream cheese, oregano, garlic until combined.
  3. Spoon about 1/2 teaspoon of pizza sauce into each mushroom. Fill each mushroom with the cream cheese mixture, then top with the grated mozzarella and a pepperoni.
  4. Cook on the BBQ for 10-15 minutes or until cheese it melted and mushrooms are tender. Serve with blue cheese or ranch sauce to dip.
