Sausage skewers with dipping sauce
Ingredients
Honey Mustard Dipping Sauce
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1/3 cup grainy dijon mustard
Sausage Skewers
- 20 1" pieces Italian sausages
- 10 1" squares of red onion
- 10 1" squares of red bell pepper
- 10 1" cubes of pineapple
- 1 zucchini, cut in 1/2" slices
Directions
For the Dipping Sauce
- In a small bowl stir together honey and mustard and set aside.
For the Sausage Skewers
- Preheat your grill to medium high or preheat your oven to 375F.
- Insert zucchini slice, sausage, pepper, onion, a second piece of sausage and the pineapple onto a 6" bamboo skewer.
- Grill until sausage is cooked through, turning as needed or roast in oven for approximately 12 minutes until brown and sausage is cooked through.
To Serve
- Serve skewers with honey mustard sauce. Enjoy!
