Spanish gin and tonic

Probably the most traditionally popular cocktail hour drink in Spain, this gin and tonic is all about the presentation. 

SERVES
1

Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 oz gin
  • 4 oz tonic water
  • Lemon or lime slices, to garnish

Directions

  1. Into a balloon glass filled with ice, pour in a quarter oz of gin. 
  2. Stir vigorously to season the glass. 
  3. Use a Hawthorne strainer to dump the gin. 
  4. Pour in two oz of new gin, and top with tonic. 
  5. Carefully lay the citrus into your cocktail, and stir. Enjoy!
