You don't have to be a dad to enjoy this cocktail, but if you're ever looking for one that's sure to impress a man in your life - this is it. Bourbon, lemon, simple syrup and bitters round out this delicious twist on the iconic whisky sour.

Ingredients

The Paper Bear Sour

  • 1 ½ oz Bourbon
  • 1 oz fresh lemon juice
  • 3/4 oz maple simple syrup
  • Bitters
  • Slice of lemon
  • Garnish with thyme

Directions

  1. Combine bourbon, lemon juice, maple syrup, and bitters in a cocktail shaker and fill with ice. Shake until fully combined.
  2. Pour/strain into low tumbler glass (already filled with ice).
  3. Garnish with your lemon slice and thyme, serve immediately!
