Ingredients
1 store-bought pizza dough (about 1 kg)
2 tablespoons olive oil
1/3 cup fig jam
15 slices spicy Calabrese salami, halved
1 cup pickled banana peppers, squeezed of excess brine
2 balls, fresh mozzarella (225G each) , torn into pieces
Directions
Line rimmed sheet pan with parchment paper and rub liberally with olive oil. Scrape dough onto pan. Cover with another sheet pan or plastic wrap upside down and leave at room temperature until doubled in size, about one to two hours. With oiled hands, gently press the dough outward to the edges of the pan.
Preheat oven to 400F. Bake dough until lightly golden, about 20 minutes.
Spread fig jam evenly over the crust—layer on cheese, salami and banana peppers. Return to oven and bake until cheese is melted and crust is cooked through, about another 20-25 minutes. Broil for 1 minute, if needed.
Let the flatbread rest for 5 minutes before slicing it in half lengthwise, then into triangles. Enjoy!
