Reindeer sanwiches

Ingredients

  • 1 heart cookie cutter
  • 2 thin slices of whole wheat bread
  • 2 twisted pretzels
  • 1 red candy (smartie/M&M)
  • 2 dark chocolate chips

NATURAL PEANUT BUTTER

  • 1 very ripe banana mashed (about 1/2 cup plus 2 tbsp)
  • 1/4 cup natural peanut butter no sugar or salt
  • 4 teaspoons hemp hearts
  • 4 teaspoons ground flax seed
  • 1/8 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Sea salt if desired (optional)

Directions

  1. Mash the banana in a bowl and mix in the peanut butter, hemp, flax, cinnamon and salt. Spread two tablespoons onto one slice of bread. Top with the other.
  2. Cut bread into heart shape.
  3. Insert the pretzels between the bread slices as “antlers”. Add a red “nose” with candy and two chocolate chips “eyes”.
