Ingredients

2 garlic bulbs

1/4 cup (60 ml) olive oil

4 sprigs fresh thyme

Salt and pepper

Baguette, sliced, grilled
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 F (175 C).
- Clean any dirt from the outside of the bulbs.
- Cut off the top 1/4 of the bulbs.
- In a baking dish or cast-iron skillet, place the garlic bulbs cut side facing upwards.
- Brush tops of the bulbs generously with olive oil.
- Season the garlic bulbs with salt and pepper.
- Top the garlic bulbs with sprigs of thyme.
- Cover pan with foil or a tight-fitting lid.
- Roast in the oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown, and the cloves are soft and squeeze easily out of the skins.
- Serve warm with baguette.
