Please be warned that these little bites are highly addictive! These are such a flavour bomb, your guests will be blown away.
8 oz cream cheese, room temperature
1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
4 slices bacon, cooked and chopped
1 packet ranch seasoning mix
2 tablespoons fresh chives, chopped
2 sheets puff pastry dough
1 egg, beaten
In a large bowl, combine the cream cheese, cheddar, bacon, ranch seasoning mix, and chives. Using a hand mixer, beat the ingredients until they are well combined.
Lay a sheet of puff pastry onto a floured surface. Spread half of the mixture on the puff pastry, leaving a one-inch border on one end. Gently roll the dough to create a log shape. Using a sharp, serrated knife, cut the log into half-inch discs. Arrange them on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Repeat with the remaining dough and cream cheese mixture.
Brush the top of each pinwheel with the egg and then bake until golden brown, about 18 minutes. Serve immediately. Enjoy!
