Kid-tested homemade pizza

  • 4 4x10 inch rounds pizza dough
  • 4 cups homemade tomato sauce
  • 454 grams grated mozzarella
  • 2 cups small pepperoni (optional)
  • 454 grams assorted grilled vegetables (optional)
  • 1/2 cup basil leaves (optional)
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan (optional)
  • Salt, to season
  • Pepper, to season


  1. Prep your pizza dough and tomato sauce in advance.
  2. On a pizza peel or tray, place the rolled dough.  Ladle down sauce, then top as you wish.
  3. Set the pies on a pizza stone into a preheated 450F oven for six to seven minutes at least, until the top is golden and crisp.
