Morning breakfast lemonade
Ingredients
Earl grey syrup:
- 1 cup boiled water
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 Earl Grey Tea bag
Morning breakfast lemonade:
- 60 millilitres (2 ounces) freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 60 millilitres (2 ounces) Earl Grey Simple Syrup
- 120 millilitres (4 ounces) filtered water
- 2 Lemon wheels
- 1 sprig of mint
Directions
Earl grey syrup:
- Pour one cup boiled water, one cup granulated sugar with one Earl Grey Tea bag. You give this a stir and voila you are done!
- The Earl Grey syrup can last in the fridge for two weeks.
Morning breakfast lemonade:
- Layer your glass with ice and lemon wheels. Add your lemon juice, earl grey syrup and top with water. Give it a stir before garnishing it with mint.
- Make it alcoholic by adding vodka or really any clear spirit would work well such as tequila blanco or gin.
