Sweet blue appetizer

Blue cheese is quite salty, so pairing it with something sweet turns it into something so unique! The shortbread gives a buttery texture, the caramel sauce adds a natural sweetness and the blue cheese adds a salty, rich flavour.



  • 1 pack good quality shortbread
  • 1 jar good quality caramel sauce
  • 100g crumbled Danish blue cheese


  1. Drizzle a spoon worth of caramel sauce onto shortbread.
  2. Crumble the Danish blue cheese so it sticks to the caramel sauce. 
  3. Serve and enjoy!
