Ingredients
- 4 salmon filets (about 5-7 oz), skin removed
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 lime, juiced and zested
- 2 tsp ginger, minced
- 2 tsp garlic, minced
- ½ tsp smoked paprika
- Cilantro, finely diced for garnish
- Lime wedges, for garnish
- Fine kosher or sea salt
Directions
Prepare the salmon:
- Rinse salmon with cold water and pat dry. It should be completely dry. Set aside on a plate.
- In a small bowl, add olive oil, lime juice, lime zest, ginger, garlic, and paprika. Stir to combine.
- Drizzle over top of salmon and rub all around each filet until it is completely coated in the sauce.
- Sprinkle with salt, about 1 tsp for all four filets.
Grill the salmon:
- Set barbecue to high heat for 5 minutes, or until hot. Reduce heat to medium-low.
- Place salmon filets on the cooler area of your grill (if you know where that is!). Cook for about 3 minutes, then flip and cook for another 3-5 minutes.
- Transfer to a plate/platter. Garnish with cilantro and scatter lime wedges around the plate. Serve hot!
