White Wine & Peaches (Pesche al Vino Bianco)

White Wine & Peaches

Ingredients

  • 4 ripe peaches, sliced
  • 1 bottle of dry chilled white wine (such as Pinot Grigio)
  • 1 lemon, thinly sliced
  • A few fresh mint leaves (optional)

Directions

  1. Wash and slice the peaches into wedges. Leave the skin on for extra flavor and color.
  2. Place the peaches in a large glass bowl or pitcher.
  3. Pour the chilled white wine over the peaches.
  4. Add the lemon slices and mint leaves.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 1–2 hours, preferably 4 hours, to allow the peaches to flavor the wine.
  6. Serve this in a large wine glass.
  7. Enjoy!
