Honeycomb and blue cheese

You can have this at the end of your meal, as it's a naturally sweet dish, but the salty blue cheese gives the whole dish flavour and pop.



  • 1 pack flatbread
  • 100g fresh honeycomb
  • 1 pear, thinly sliced
  • 1 small wedge of sharp Castello blue cheese
  • 40g good quality dark chocolate


  1. On the bottom of a plate, place four pieces of flatbread.
  2. Add a few dollops of the honeycomb on top of the flatbread.
  3. Gently place pear slices so they touch the honeycomb but do not completely cover it. You want everything to be visible here.
  4. Crumble blue cheese rustically and scatter on top of all other ingredients.
  5. Lastly, grate dark chocolate to cover the whole plate and on top of other ingredients. Serve and enjoy!
