Palmier cookies

These two-ingredient cookies are ridiculously easy!

Ingredients
- 1 sheet, thawed puff pastry
- 1 cup white sugar
Directions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees, and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
- Scatter 1/4 cup of sugar over work surface. Place puff pastry on top of sugar, and top with 1/4 cup of sugar. Using a rolling pin, gently roll out pastry to remove any bumps or creases, and to press sugar into the dough.
- Fold the left long side of the dough half way towards the middle. Fold the right long side of the dough half way towards the middle.
- Repeat process again for left and right side so that they touch in the middle. Then fold one side over the other side to form a stack.
- Slice into one centimeter pieces, and roll in more sugar. place on baking sheet, spacing cookies five centimeters apart.
- Bake for 15 to 20 minutes until golden brown.
