Dillicious trout dip with crisps

An effortlessly delicious dip that pairs perfectly with your preferred chips. What's more, its versatility shines through—you can whip it up using either smoked trout or dilled trout, catering to your taste preferences.



  • 300 g mascarpone
  • 100 g mayonnaise
  • Smoked trout or 1 tin dilled trout
  • 1 lemon, zested and juiced
  • Salt, to taste
  • Olive oil, for garnish
  • Dill, to garnish


  1. Blend mascarpone and mayonnaise in a bowl until thoroughly combined.
  2. Fold in your smoked trout or dilled trout.
  3. Add lemon zest and juice, and picked dill (the trout should have enough salt but adjust to your taste).
  4. Serve with potato chips, crackers or crusty bread. Enjoy!
